For All The Single Ladies

Sounds like a song I know! Today's topic is all int he title! ladies so you often sit and wonder what is out here for you. Do you have a mental list of what is perfect and what is not perfect? Let me be the bearer of bad news. No one is perfect, there is no such thing as the "perfect" man however, there is a man that is perfect just for you. Today is going to be more about reflection. I think now is the good time to get in the practice of praying for the health and virility of your future husband. To begin pray the rosary. If you are not Catholic pray an "Our Father" for every quality you desire in a man. It is not  problem to like a man however, it is one when you chase him. The man does the pursuing, you may leave hints. There is a tactful way to flirt, I personally toss my hair and look over my shoulder as I am walking away from him.

This post is more about reflection and I want you to focus on your journaling. I want you all to go through that list of perfection or what you think is perfect, reflect and perhaps tick frivolous qualities off the list.

Closing Prayer

Father please guide us and help us preserve our femininity.
Be our strength during our time of discernment.
Be our lookout during out periods of courtship.
Your reflection of beauty is the beauty we want to see reflected back in the mirror every morning.

A Fun Way to Let God In at the Dinner Table

It seems cooler out this Monday evening! I am blessed and very thankful that God let up on the heat. I have some announcements the interview with the priests, campus minister, and campus missionary is going to happen it will be posted next month. There will be a questionnaire answered by parishioners at my parish, the goal is to have a tangible opinion in the matters of families and relationships. To know why it is important to have God at the center of a relationship will help families center God in their lives better. I would like to take the honor and reveal my first two book series "Christian Families Series" and "Christian Beauty Series" Enjoy the recipe and since an emergency occurred, and I didn't get this posted Monday evening like I was supposed to I will leave you with a bible verse. The recipe is for a dessert called "Heavenly Rice", my aunt has been making this dessert for years everyone loves it at family functions she is always begged to bring Heavenly Rice. My aunt had to make more than one giant bowl of it. or people would be raising cane when the last drop was gone. She had good reason for making way too much and not enough.

Heavenly Rice

1 1/2 fresh pineapples chopped finely
1 medium bag of rice
1 bag of chopped pecans
1 1/2 bags of mini marshmallows
1lb shelled pistachios
2 tubs of whipped cream
2 packages of vanilla pudding
4 cups of milk

Instructions
1. Cook the bag of rice add the 3 cups milk after rice cools a little bit.
2. (This is where family bonding comes in and remember to keep the conversation Godly and ask about your children's prayer life.) Prepare both boxes of vanilla pudding according to instructions. After the pudding is ready add it to the milk and rice.
3. Add the walnuts and pistachios.
4. Stir in both tubs of whipped cream (my aunt hand made her whipped cream, but for the sake of time saving I figured cool whip will work just fine).
5. Finally, stir in a bag of mini marshmallows, then pour in another half a bag (my aunt on ocassion would pour in both bags to switch her recipe up).

CAUTION: This makes a hefty amount so that means you can sit around the table and talk about heaven. This will get kids curious and get the ball rolling to talking about God. Ask children why they thing heaven is good and hell is bad. This dessert is also a good finishing touch to a family bible study, that means you can invite your immediate family such as your parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, as well as aunts and uncles! This is a good way to avoid leftovers as well, because there will be plenty after dessert! It is so yummy! I used to eat plate after plate of heavenly rice when I was a little kid!

As promised I will leave you all with a section of the bible second time in a row! Sorry, guaranteed tomorrow there will be a closing prayer! I never forget to pray regardless and I expect all you to pray so you can better teach your children how to pray.
READ ANY SECTION OUT OF THE GOSPEL OF LUKE! READ IT JOURNAL IT THEN MEDITATE UPON IT! I WANT THIS TO CARRY YOU THROUGH, THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF YOU SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH OTHERS!
If you benefited so greatly from something you would want to share it with others, right? Sharing the gospel is no different it is very important that as many people know about God as possible, so they can turn away from sin. Everyone deserves God's mercy and eternal salvation! God bless you I love you all and keep those emails coming!

Oncoming Topics

Good evening! It is such a humid Sunday evening! I attended mass in Maumee, Ohio,  it is such a beautiful parish! I hope everyone has had a blessed and safe weekend! I hope everyone attended Church services this weekend. If not it is understandable if circumstances prevented you from going. I want to remind everyone once again that God is everywhere, he sees what we all do! He knows what we will do before our existence were thought of. Weekend posts will happen ONCE during the weekend so everyone can get a day off and use the pointers that you will get daily. We all note that everyone has busy hectic lives it is seldom a time when a parent ask their children, "How is your prayer life"? This week I will cover ways to help get your children involved and engaged in prayer I will start with the most basic of devotions all the way to the complex. Bear with me because, these are all devotions and prayers we need to help us sustain our faith in God's grace and God's will.  It is vcery important that children learn to pray as early as four or five years old, basically as soon as they have good communication/ speaking skills. And by teaching your children how to pray at such a young age it will get the WHOLE family interacting and praying together.  Coming up I plan on interviewing a few priests as well as a campus Minister and a Campus Missionary. The main topic will be what all their take is on what it takes to prepare for a family and what they think it takes to keep a family united before entering into a marriage. Weekend posts will consists of what is to come that way everyone is prepared and can get a head start in their journaling in the joint/family journal so that it is up to date. I want families to focus this upcoming week on what is going on that prevents at least one family mealtime and game night (board/card games) a week and also learn to schedule family prayer time because it is very necessary to get the family in habit of praying together. As I mentioned before, my main goal is to keep families united through God centered relationships. It is very important to remember God's infinite love in the form of Eros and Agape to better understand how we are all called to love one another in the same manner God loves us! God bless you all!
